Year-Long Science Education Pacing Guide. Part 1

Begin a pacing guide for a year (approximately 35 weeks or 180 days) of science with content that correlates to the FLORIDA state and national standards for that grade level (can be accessed at CPALMS.ORG) Include all major content for the grade level (you can choose any grade kindergarten to 5th) and the approximate time for each unit or topic.
Complete Part 1 of the Year-Long Science Education Pacing Guide Template.
Include the titles, topics, and grade level. Include the engineering practices and crosscutting concepts that align with each topic. Include the Next Generation Science Standards for the grade level that you intend to teach. 'Note: The details of your lessons can be as descriptive as you prefer, but consider that this should be an outline of your year-long lesson plan. Sequence the units logically so the concepts build on each other.
