Your rough draft is a complete draft of 7-8 double-spaced pages.
Your rough draft should include parenthetical references and your bibliography (without the annotations but corrected according to the indications made on your annotated bibliography). Please consult the When I return this draft back I will indicate what, if any, areas need improvement regarding content (quality and scope of topic, command of material, complexity of thought and your support of your argument) organization, style, and writing mechanics (grammar, spelling, syntax), or in citation style or your bibliography.
Your rough draft should include an illustration of your image. You can obtain one from the Hirsch Library (see Museum Information document).
FINAL DRAFT
Your final draft is another completed draft that is your opportunity to address any issues noted in the rough draft, and generally to improve your essay. You will be graded on the points noted above, and upon the improvements made from the rough draft.
NOTE: The final draft must include all important objects discussed in your essay. Within your paper, indicate a figure by inserting “(Figure 1)” and so forth in sequence within the text at an appropriate place. At the end of your paper prior to your bibliography, insert your images, indicating figure # followed by a full identification of a work including the artist’s name if known, the name of the work of art, the object/structure’s location, date and dimensions if known.
