Imagine yourself to be a historian, someone like Thucydides. Please choose one time period (minimum 50
years apart) and your home country/civilizations within the scope of our class (before 1500s C.E.) and
write a historical account of your time period. For example, if you choose the 13th-14th century, you
should include the Mongol empire, the Black Death, the Hundred Years's War, the Crusades, the Islamic
Empire, the Eastern Roman Empire, etc. The more comprehensive your answer is, the higher the point
you will get. Please remember that all sources are potentially subjective and biased. So please make sure
you identity your home country/civilization, and write according to the perspective of that civilization.
