Feuerbach, Sigmund Freud, Karl Marx, or any modern interpretations.
- Discuss the concept of Mircea Eliade’s Sacred and Profane.
- Explain how the Ultimate Reality can be understood through its two main faces:
immanent and transcendent. - Define Atheism.
- Discuss the roles of Agnosticism from modern-day religious and cultural
understandings. - Discuss the differences and/or commonalities between the aspects of Worship:
rituals, sacraments, prayers, and spiritual practices. (Examples from one religion
may be used) - How do myths create models for human behavior. Both religious and cultural
practices and models can be examined. - Discuss the differences between Orthodoxy and Absolutism.
- Examine the modern misinterpretation of the term Fundamentalist. How does this
misinterpretation lead to cultural stereotypes. - Discuss two to three aspects of the Negative Side of Organized Religion. Cite
from either modern day or historical examples. - Discuss the difference between the terms ‘religion’ and ‘organized religion’.
- Discuss the renewal of the Goddess ideology in today’s societies.
