"Work Rules" by Laszlo Bock

In chapters 3 and 4, Laszlo Bock talks about how hiring and selection are the single most important
investments of human resource management. He talks about how Google takes being able to consistently hire
better and better people very seriously, as their people investment is one of their sole competitive advantages.
What do you think about this approach? Do you think these recommendations are generalizable and scalable,
or do you think there are context-related constraints that influence these sorts of constraints?
