However you are expected to add a fourth section, definition of key terms, immediately after the introduction. This means your assignment answer ought to comprise four sections. It is important for you to remember this because each section is assessed separately. Experience has clearly shown that it is the students who pay attention to the structure of their essay who do well in both assignments and examinations. In this regard, clearly divide your work into four sections, viz: introduction; definition of terms; main discussion; and conclusion. Do not ignore the section on definition of terms as it carries ten (10) marks. In this regard, you are expected to define at least two key terms in the question. Do not use “main discussion” as a heading in your essay; it causes confusion. For each main point, you should have a heading and if necessary, subheadings. Use Arabic numerals (1,2,3 and so forth) and decimal points (1.1, 1.2 and so forth) for numbering subheadings.
