White collar crimes (DB4)

There have been many white-collar crime cases in the news. For this discussion board, you can pick one from the list in the book, or pick one that was in the news that interests you or was from your home state/country (California, USA) and discuss and analyze the crime and offender. Include who, what, when, where, and why. If you are interested in businesses that were involved, you can discuss the Baptist Foundation of Arizona, Arthur Anderson (involved with BFA and Enron), Enron, TRW systems. Note: if you choose a crime from the economic system, then choose one from the housing system for this assignment, or vice-versa.
