GROUP ASSESSMENT- MANAGING DIVERSITY EXHIBITION

In your research group, students are required to undertake independent ‘research’ on a diversity topic. Choose from one of the 3 topics below. These are big research

topics and your tutor will assist you once you have decided on your topic

Assessment Topics
Students should discuss with their seminar tutor the nature of their research topic they are going to research from the choice below:-

1. What does it mean to be culturally competent?

Achieving good grades:

Students will need to clearly identify one topic from the suggested research areas above.

Regular seminar attendance and preparation during the Assessment Support sessions will help you achieve progress during your research process.

Progress demonstrated for each research meeting

Receiving feedback from the tutor (these seminars will also help you refine your research topic and avoid having ‘too large an area to research)’.

Discussing the topic together in a team as opposed to working individually

Using the assessment criteria to organise your research project
