Plan ahead: homework for your Battalion Command Teams and you
all is a 1-2 page paper telling me who you are…really, who you are…what
makes you tick…what's on your mind. Nothing like a writing project to
inspire feelings of good will. I'm fired up about it!!!

- what’s on my mind is motivation, I feed off of positive energy from the Battalion, Social media, making the Bn
the best in the BDE while making the BDE stronger.
I like to inspire the small unit leader.
What makes me tick is the opportunity to work alongside of American Soldiers, but to train along side of our
NATO allies.
The reason why the BDE and the Bn is so successful is we exercise true Mission Command, we empower our
junior leaders. Not only are we successful, but we are excelling.
I want my organization to be a Committed base organization (Not afraid to make the wrong decisions, show
them the right way and help them to be successful) and not a compliance base organization( Where if you
screw up, you will be punished)
