Weather Forecasting - Scientific Method

Weather forecasting began with the first humans realizing that they could determine what conditions might be,
based on what they saw in the sky. Although some "folk" sayings about weather have been validated, we have
come a long way from those early days and understand weather better now than we ever have.
In this paper, you are to describe what you feel were the major advancements in weather forecasting, based on
your understanding of the scientific method. Graphics are helpful in making your points, and references are
required.
This paper should be typed in a 12-point font, times new roman, and single-spaced. The minimum length is
one page, but you are welcome to write more. You should have at least three references on a separate page to
support your opinions.
