War from Short Stories

Need a paper on War that draws from "A Private History of a Campaign That Failed,” “War Prayer,” "An Occurence at Owl Creek Bridge,” and "Editha.” The thesis being three points:

  1. War isn't what we often imagine it to be
  2. War's primary result is the loss of human life
  3. War is at odds with traditional morals/ethics
Is there an author available familiar with these stories?
