Virtue Epistemology

“Virtue Epistemology” is a non-evidentialist theory of epistemology which has some similarities to proper
function theory, but focuses instead on an agent’s internal intellectual character (their “Epistemic Virtues”) in
terms of their ability to reason and interpret evidence well. For Virtue Epistemologists, knowledge involves
coming to true beliefs in a virtuous or praiseworthy way, as opposed to by mere accident. Watch the video
