Vanishing Communities

Choose a family group or a person. Using photography and videography (on the monitor), you can think of a reconstructed life of this person or of the family. Conduct some research on the lives of nomads in Turkey and Central Asia at the Economist or at the New York Times. Add a link to a journal article you find related to the lives of this person or Yoruks in Turkey. Your own photos of a chosen family or a person should be included here. Can you mention a historical event that could have made a huge impact on these communities? For example, you can say the Gulf War, WWII, or 9111. Try to historicize these peoples' lives.
