This segment of your news journal will focus on the Impeachment Trial. In the upcoming week, the Senate will vote on the removal of the president. The popular consensus is that President Trump will be acquitted. During and after this vote focus your attention on news coverage regarding the fairness of this trial. Rep. Jerry Nadler stated that if no witnesses or documents were allowed to be presented that this trial would be a cover-up on January 11, 2020. What do you conclude at the end of this historic event?

You are to watch or read news coverage from three major sources on television news reports or either in major newspapers. These sources' perspectives should vary. Sources should come from liberal, conservative or international mediums. For example, online major newspapers as the New York Times, the Washington Post or the Wall Street Journal, or CNN, MSNBC, Fox or BBC news programs are appropriate.

Each entry of the journal should provide the title of the program or news article, author, date information was published, and the network or publication information was retrieved from. This journal should have five to six paragraphs. The first paragraph should give the main focus of the news reviewed.
