Translation of mRNA into proteins.

This week we are discussing translation of mRNA into proteins. Three of the most critical ingredients in this process are Transfer RNA, Aminoacyl-tRNA Synthetases, and Ribosomes. Please select one of these to do some further reading on. They are all featured in the “Molecule of the Month” series published by David Goodsell on the Protein Data Bank webpage:
