Project Description:
For my project, I would like to focus on the theme of transgender children and youth in schools. Moreover, | want to analyze how school policies and practices can affect children and youth whose gender identity differs from their sex assigned at birth.

Good description of the topic and theme. For the expanded proposal, begin thinking about what exactly you'll be exploring. Will you be looking at specific policies from schools? How will you gain access (websites, material at the library)? Will you be doing a synthesis of existing research? Just some questions to get you thinking about the concrete material that you'll be analyzing. Let me know if you'd like to discuss in more detail.
Instructions:Each student must conduct an individual research project on a specific issue, theme, or debate relating to Transgender Studies.
