There has been an intense focus on both immigration and hate crimes in recent months. This module covers ethnicity and ethnoreligious groups, two groupings of people who may have experienced either immigration, hate crimes, or both.

I want you to do a little research, and come up with what you think are the best two tactics that the criminal justice system and local communities can use in ensuring that members of ethnic and ethnoreligious groups aren’t harmed by their immigration status or hate crimes. I am not asking for your stance on immigration or hate crimes, but rather that you consider how we can ensure that crimes against vulnerable people are prevented or reported to police.

Think of schools, churches, or other organizations that can provide assistance as well.
