of how metaphors are widely used across different domains as well as through verbal and non-verbal modes of
communication.).

3/ review metaphor research in your field of interest – but not exclusively. For example, if your major is biology,
focus more on the pervasive and persuasive aspects of this rhetorical device in this field.
Papers must include information from at least 5 scholarly sources. Non-academic sources such as credible
magazines, newspapers, and websites will not count toward your 5 sources. However, they may be used if
they provide valid, relevant, and compelling information that cannot be found elsewhere.
Note: Your main task is to review a segment of scholarly knowledge on this topic. However, you are invited to
briefly illustrate some theoretical concepts using your own examples of verbal and visual metaphors
