The U.S. health care system

Sadly the U.S. health care system is experiencing unprecedented difficulty due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
As of today (April 10, 2020), more 18,000 Americans died of the coronavirus and about half-million
Americans have been confirmed infected. Your task is to identify a specific problem (e.g., choose whatever
you like such as hospital’s financial status, shortage of PPE, frontline healthcare workers, racial disparity,
social distancing, testing, face mask, roles of gov’t regulations or FDA or CDC, nursing homes,
globalization, rationing, health system capacity, etc.) related to COVID-19 and provide your careful analysis
for our health care system and offer effective solutions. Include one economical aspect of COVID-19 in your
report. Be creative and innovative in finding solutions. Your written paper (full 7-pages, double spaced, at
least 10 citations) must have the following structure and subheadings. The report will be graded based on
the quality and consistency of the report. A submission link will be established in BB sometime next week
and the submission deadline is Thursday, 3/30/2020.
