21 y/o college student E.B came with complaints of shaking, flutters in chest, fever, cough, nausea, vomiting, unintentional weight loss, increased bowel movement and frequency. She recently had flu and now experiencing exercise and heat intolerance, insomnia and oligomenorrhea. She is emotionally upset as she broke up with her boyfriend and is anxious about her forthcoming exam. She is febrile, tachycardia, tachypneic, hyperreflexic, and has an early systolic murmur. She has an enlarged thyroid, palpable thyroid isthmus with a thyroid thrill and bruit.
