1.READ THE UPLOADED STORIES. In your opinion, which of the two works best explores the theme you’ve observed in the two works?( Remember a theme is more than a one word topic. For example, “violence” is a one-word topic. “The negative impact of violence on the physical and psychological well-being of children in urban communities” is a theme. )

2. Produce a thesis-driven essay with Introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion.Your thesis should state which work is more effective and why. Your paper should also clearly articulate the theme the works share and the body paragraphs should cite evidence and provide analysis as to how the works explore the theme, and you will need to explain why one is more effective in your view.
3. You must cite from the works (TWO STORIES BEING COMPARED). Be sure to cite all sources and include a works cited page (cite four sources in total, the two assigned stories + 2 outside sources). Comprehend and engage the concepts from the short stories in a cohesive essay. Avoid using online reviews of these works and artists….it is very apparent when that occurs and it negatively impacts your grade.
