Why they can coexist and why it's beneficial:

  • Managers need leadership to inspire and adapt: A manager who is purely focused on tasks and efficiency without any leadership qualities risks becoming rigid, demotivating their team, and failing to adapt to new challenges or opportunities. They might achieve short-term goals but lose sight of the bigger picture or fail to innovate.
