The Justice system and how our everyday attitude towards racism affects it. Order Description *Using the attached research proposal and annotated bibliography follow these guidelines please. The paper must be based on the same topic (Black lives matter and the criminal justice system) and ideas (the TV show “Empire”, etc) provided in the research proposal and annotated bibliography. Final Paper Guidelines?Topic: Same Topic as the Research paper and Annotated bibliography (which is attached to the order). Do not change topic. Length: 2000 words. Points will be deducted incrementally for shorter papers (regardless of quality, a paper with fewer than 2000 words will receive a top grade of C; a paper with fewer than 1500 words will receive a grade of F. So please try to keep it above 2000. Form: This is a formal, argumentative paper. It should have a clear introductory paragraph or block with a thesis statement or a statement of purpose, and a conclusion. A delayed thesis structure is also an option. Pay particular attention to the flow of the argument and to how each paragraph and block is connected to the one before and after. Make sure it’s proofread. Format: Follow new MLA guidelines for formatting and citing. Up to 10 cumulative percentage points may be deducted from the grade for the final p``aper for glaring errors that you should not be made. Sources: Must be related to pop culture (TV shows, movies, etc) Use same 5 sources that are in the annotated bibliography. In addition use at least three must be scholarly articles (ex. from Library databases such as JSTOR and Project Muse); one must be a book (or a chapter in a book). Note that you can have as many additional sources as you want or need. Quotations: Remember that quotations need to be introduced, if briefly (ex. “According to X, ...” ). When a quote is not a stand-alone sentence but is inserted in another sentence, the two must agree grammatically. Watch for tense agreement, pronoun agreement, subordinating and coordinating conjunctions, and so forth.
