The Buffalo Creek Disaster Discussion Order Description Students will read The Buffalo Creek Disaster and write a reflection incorporating a discussion of ethics. The purpose of this assignment is for students to think critically about ethics and law. This assignment is also designed to help improve undergraduate student writing outcomes. Organization: introductory paragraph, multiply paragraphs in the body with transitional sentences, and a concluding paragraph. You must elaborate on the questions and instructions given below. 3. Topic: Write a reflection on The Buffalo Creek Disaster incorporating a discussion on ethics. Create your own unique title for the paper which should be tailored to your content. a. Devote at least one third of your essay to a discussion of ethics and corporate social responsibility as a part of ethics, drawing upon what you read in The Buffalo Creek Disaster. Include at least a brief discussion on sustainability. b. You may choose other topics from the book for the remaining two thirds of your essay. What is most significant to you? Why? c. In the alternative, you may choose to write your entire essay about Ethics, CSR, and Sustainability in the context of The Buffalo Creek Disaster. d. Be selective. You cannot talk about everything in two pages. I recommend that you discuss no more than three significant facets of the book with one of them being Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility. 2 e. Use Times New Roman or Cambria 12 point font with one inch margins on each side and one inch margins top and bottom of page. e. Number your pages at the bottom in the center. f.
