Topic: The Blues and Blacks Culture

Order Description
Possible subjects include looking into the life a blues musician; doing a close reading of a blues song(s); looking a specific genre of blues music (e.g. Delta Blues, Boogie Woogie, Classic Blues, etc); looking at the intersectional aspects of the blues using lenses of race, gender, and class; or connecting the blues to an another genre of music.
