Task description: The assignment aims at deepening your knowledge on face recognition techniques and developing presentation skills. The task is to study a publication entitled “Face Recognition: some challenges in forensics”, and based on your understandings to a present with about 30 pages/slides in ppt format. Structure of your presentation ? Front page, including topic title presenters’ name, affiliations ? Research background ? Review of face recognition techniques ? Schematic of forensic face recognition process ? Challenges of face recognition for forensics ? Evaluation metrics: false reject rate and false accept rate ? Further research directions Marking schema (100 marks in total) Your responses to the following aspects (20 marks per item) will form the basis for our marking exercises: ? Application background ?
