Directions: First, explain cancer based on what you have learned about mitosis. Then research one drug that is used to treat cancer and answer the following:
a. How does this drug work? I realize this isn't a course in human health or medicine, but be as specific and thorough in your explanation as you can here.
b. Does this drug's mode of action and/or side effects have anything to do with mitosis? If so, which phase of the cell cycle is affected?
c. What specifically does this drug do inside the cell? Again, be as specific and thorough in your explanation as you can.
Include the name of the drug in the title of your post and make sure your answers are clearly labeled as "a., b., etc. Include your references under the heading 'References," at the end of your post. You should format your references in APA style.
