Standardized Testing Is Bad

  Write and present a speech that attempts to answer and/or persuade your classmates to agree with you on a moral question or dilemma. You should structure your speech in the form of a Classical Argument and use all three major rhetorical appeals to make your argument as compelling as possible. REQUIREMENTS Your speech should be 4 minutes or less in length. Suggested length: 3 min. You must turn in a copy of your speech on Canvas by the presentation date. You must use all three rhetorical appeals. You must include footnotes that explain where and how you use appeals. Place each footnote at the end of the sentence, sentences, or paragraph where you use a particular appeal, then, in 1-2 sentences, identify the appeal you use and how you use it in that particular section of your speech. You are not required to use outside sources, but if you do you must cite them in MLA format on a Works Cited Page.
