1.Discuss the early religious and medicinal purposes of spirits and wine. Do any of them still apply today, and in what forms?
2.What was the food value of alcohol in early cultures? Why did people drink alcohol when they had other beverage choices?
3.Name one positive and one negative aspect of prohibition. (Your own opinion can, and should, color your answer.)
