You are to answer any three the five questions below. Some of the questions have two parts but are considered one question. The answers must be typed, double-spaced in Times New Roman size 12 font. They are due in class as per the syllabus. Papers on drives, email attachments and late papers will not be accepted. I expect at least three typed double-spaced pages for each answer for a total of a minimum of nine pages. 1. Define sociology and explain the three major sociological perspectives. 2. What is culture made up of? Why should we practice cultural relativism? 3. Discuss organizations and bureaucracy. Explain the characteristics of a bureaucracy. 4. Summarize the articles assigned in the topic “Deviance”. 5. Discuss the functions of religion and describe any one major religion.
