Socialization Spheres/Agents: Discuss the agents of socialization listed in the table below, relating your
personal experiences to the research and theory presented in the class. Each one of the spheres of
influence listed in the table is relevant and even the lack of exposure within a sphere is relevant to your
socialization.
Address each of the following agents of socialization – Minimum of 1 page per agent. As you discuss each
agent, consider how experiences, people and major events influenced your socialization. You are required
to provide specific examples and connect your experiences with socialization theory and major concepts
within the agent. Identify, apply and discuss all agents of socialization and discuss at least 3 methods of
socialization per agent. Support your ideas with citations from the learning units.
