Social Research Area:Urban Sociology / Sociology of the family, Research Problem/topic:Commuter Stress, Research question: What effects do long travel times have on the lives of commuters? Order Description Length: 1000 words (+ / - 10 per cent): Not including references. You are to develop a concise literature review, drawing from sources* which you have found relating to your research topic as a means of evaluating the current state of knowledge in your chosen area. You will also need to cite at least TEN (10) studies, but will only need to focus on TWO (2) in depth. Your review should draw out the strengths and weaknesses of the existing literature and explain how these inform the development of your own project. The review has four sections: i. A brief outline of the research topic, providing a short summary of the topic and the key research question(s) to be addressed. This should include an overview of the key themes arising from the ten studies ii. A concise literature review covering two of these studies. iii. Bibliographic details of the ten articles or books that relate to this topic. iv. A short reflection on how information retrieval skills were used in finding the sources.
