You will identify at least three current social issues facing the United States, for example, The Global
Pandemic, Sexual Harassment, Immigration, and identify the leadership skills and styles from the course that
leaders need to lead in this environment (Traits, Skills, Behavior (Relationship: Task-focused or both),
Followership (LMX), Path-Goal, and at least two of the following: Situational, Transformational, Authentic,
Adaptive).
The essay will be 15, double-spaced, typed pages, not including References. The Paper should (1) include
relevant descriptive facts of the events (2) provide an analysis of the leadership theories/concepts discussed to
provide insight into what would make for effective leadership during these times. You will strengthen your
Paper if you provide at least some summary of the basic tenets of the theories/concepts used; acknowledge
what might be some specific limits/weaknesses and assumptions of the theories in analyzing effective
leadership for these situations.
