Service Learning Project

Service Learning Project
Project Overview: To teach is to serve, and when we teach, we ourselves learn.  Therefore, it is only fitting that in a course on servant leadership, you would find yourself serving others through teaching them.  Your service-learning project for ESFF2100: The Desire to Serve involves you developing and delivering a training session on servant leadership philosophy to an organization, group, team, or industry.  The organization that you will serve is up to you (it cannot be your own family or simply a group of friends), you need to ensure that you identify the specific agency and its purpose in your work.
In order to complete this project you must complete the following:
1    Completion and Submission of the Risks and Hazards Statement of Understanding and Release Form and the Agency Agreement Form (DUE Week Ten Day Seven @ 2359hrs). Failure to do so will result in an AUTOMATIC failure of the service-learning project
2    Set up and conduct an introductory meeting with an Organization/Group/Team/Industry to discuss the servant leadership training session.  Establish a date and location when the training will be offered.
3    Research and develop a the training outline, lesson plan, hand-outs (if needed), attendance sheets (mandatory), session quiz or short answer reflective essay (if needed)
4    Development of the training lecture (talking notes) and PowerPoint presentation (see links below to PowerPoint training if you have never used PowerPoint before or you need a refresher)
5    Deliver the servant leadership training-session
