Sense; The activation of receptor cells

Pick one of the senses described in the chapter. In your post, you will outline how we hear, taste, smell, or feel a stimulus. Once you pick the sense, describe both the sensory and perceptual process regarding that sense. You will describe what cells and brain areas are involved in the sense. First describe the activation of receptor cells and move up to the higher brain areas. Describe any stops along the way from the receptor level to the cerebral cortex.
