Response to The Souls of Black Folk
Reflect on the "Souls of Black Folk". The book was published in 1903 and in it DuBois writes, "the problem of the 20th century is the problem of the color line." Now, in the 21st Century, doesthis still ring true? What parts of DuBois message ring true for the contemporary moment? In your opinion, what is the problem of the 21st Century?
