Order Description • Critique the story and the message presented • Identify the dominant discourse that you feel are perpetuated through this story • Use research to discuss the impacts of perpetuating such discourse • Design an experience to implement with children which outline strategies for making children aware of stereotype and how to critique the dominant discourse • Describe innovative resources you could use to help support your arguments to children. Include ways that you would be able to use your chosen story to encourage children to critique texts. • Implement, evaluate and reflect on the experience in light of social justice and reference appropriately.
