Please read chapter 9 on the psychological maltreatment of children. Besides reading the chapter, please refer to at least one article on psychological maltreatment of children from a peer-reviewed journal article (you may use Academic Search Complete, an online database).

For at least one page, I would like you to summarize the key ideas of the chapter and the article (half-a-page for the text book and another half-a-page for the article). For at least another one page, I would like you to discuss either personal experiences or the experiences of someone you know (without disclosing the person’s name) pertaining to psychological treatment experienced during childhood and its impact.
