Many of you probably know only a little of what it means to be licensed as an engineer. Write a brief explanation of the importance of professional licensure, both for the individual (i.e., potentially you) and the profession. You can find information on licensure from web sites for professional engineering Societies and also the State Education Department, which is responsible for managing professional licensure, or simply Google professional engineering license.
