Presentation Evaluation

Taking the time to research examples of published professional development can provide insight into how effective professional development is presented.

Select a 15-30 minute video presentation (e.g., YouTube, Lynda.com, ASCD webinar) related to your professional development in your organizational context. Examples include any topics you selected for your Needs Assessment Survey.

After viewing the video, write a 250-500 word evaluation of the content and presentation.

Evaluate the following:

The overall effectiveness of the session (e.g., relevance, creativity, presentation, organization)
The overall engagement of the session
The applicability of the resources and strategies demonstrated in the session
In addition, include any strategies you viewed that you would like to include in your presentation as well as anything you might change about the presentation in order to use it in your context.
