Portfolio

Over the course of the semester, I am expecting you to write 10 reading journals related to 10 different weeks of material. Each journal should be at least 250 words 1 page, double-spaced with standard margins At the end of the semester you will be asked to submit all 10 journals as one portfolio to Canvas. You have some subjective leeway in choosing which weeks to reflect on. I would recommend writing reflections for materials that resonated with you. Each journal reflection should be labeled with the associated week number. Please also label which question you are answering. And, each journal reflection should answer one of the following questions: 1.How do you personally relate to this readings or podcasts? What ideas, concepts, theories, or information have personal relevance for you? How might the ideas, concepts, theories, or information be useful in your own life? Do not answer this question if you cannot relate! 2. How do the ideas, concepts or theories in these podcasts and/or readings relate to other readings we have done this semester or to course material you have learned in other classes? Be specific! 3.How do the ideas, concepts, or theories in this reading relate to fictional pieces or pop culture? You can relate the work to a book, short story, poem, television show, movie, song, etc. Be sure to discuss how the piece of media is a representation of what we've learned in class for the chosen week. . Cite your sources properly in-text using the last name(s) of the authors – do not cite the editor. When quoting, be sure to reference a page number and use quotation marks. ASA format is preferred,
