Political Culture/Party System in ONE Province in Canada

Order Description 1. Identify whether the provincial party system emerged at the time of the province’s entry into Confederation OR later 2. Describe whether the party system in the contemporary period (i.e. since the 1980s). (Your perspective may be somewhat longer as in the case of Quebec, when the PQ emerged in the late 1960s, or even more recent than the 1980s in other instances.) 3. Identify whether the provincial party has been strongly allied with the national (federal level) party or not. 4. Final evaluation: does the party system that has now emerged seem comparatively distinctive and fairly stable or not?
