Policy Paper

Choose a political / social issue (ex. Immigration, abortion, homelessness, election fraud, violence, etc.…) Make it a topic you care about, it shows in your work. Your paper consists of three general areas First, the history of the issue and current government policy in the United States. Second, your views on the policy and how they should be changed, make sure you support your view with fact. Finally, what would you do to get the elected officials and the public to accept your policy? Do not write you would lobby or put up ads, I want to you consider effective ways to influence legislative and public opinion, be creative.
