Poetry Analysis
A narrative poem of not less than sixty lines telling my life story:
I am raised in a middle-class family living in a remote /hinterland place were surrounded by mountains and access to education was very difficult and I need to walk for 3 hours to reach the school
In high school years, I experienced hardship and discrimination since I am from a rural area were very conservative in terms of clothing. That majority of my teachers practiced favoritism and they treated me indifferently.
In college, I study very hard and burn candles to make it on the top. I successfully awarded Latin honors ( Cumlaude).
After graduation, I successfully passed the Board Examination for teachers and landed a job as Elementary School Teachers assigned in a remote place. Through my hardship I was promoted in less than two years a lot of my co teachers envy me but I still work hard and after two years I was promoted to Master Teacher and the following year to a School Principal and after few years I was promoted to Education Program supervisor with my promotion a lot of intrigued and issues was thrown to me that cause so much pain. But God is so good I pass the Career Executive Examination which is a requirement for promotion for Assistant Schools Division Superintendent and luckily I was designated as Officer-In-Charge to the office of Assistant Schools Division Superintendent.
Due to the pressure of my works and heavy workloads, I got sick and my doctor asks me to choose between my health and career. I was very depressed I that time since I am at the peak of my career I thought it was the end of the world I was given an opportunity to be hired in my Alma Mater in College where I am now one of the Key Personnel. I am now happily working here receiving a good salary. In conclusion from my hardship and sacrifices to a happy and better life.
