Physical or verbal aggression

• Review a time when you acted in an aggressive way. What form of aggression did you participate in (ex: physical or verbal)? What do you think caused the behavior? Were there particular negative emotions that were responsible? How did you resolve those aggressive behaviors in order to cease your feelings or were you overwhelmed and completed your aggressive behavior? What strategies/coping methods did you use to help you assess your behavior and make changes for the future? As individuals, what are some reasons as to why our aggressive thoughts and behavior blindside and prevent us from making better choices in handling situations? Utilize outside resources, personal experiences, and chapter 10 to answer this question. • Describe a time when you experienced stress. What cues did you experience that equated what you experienced as stress? Did you know you were experiencing it? What emotional and physiological changes did you experience? What coping strategies did you use to help you navigate through this hard time experienced? What advice would you give someone who is experiencing stress that might help them better cope with it? Why do you think individuals shy away from seeking professional help when sorting through stressful events?
