Think about a famous philosophical puzzle called New-comb's problem.
As | mentioned during class yesterday, it is part of the next segment of the course addressing critiques of critical inking. Specifically, New comb's problem illustrates how critical thinking can be indeterminate. That is, as you'll see, there appear to be equally powerful arguments for opposite ways of responding to the problem. The problem is set out in the following article:
