Persuasive Self-Reflection

This assignment asks you to reflect on your how your performance changed/improved in your Persuasive
Speech by watching the recordings and considering feedback from your peers and your Instructor. It also asks
you to consider how you will develop a plan for improvement as we move into our Small Group Presentation.
You will write a three-paragraph reflection:
Paragraph I: Reflect on your presentation’s strengths and weaknesses after watching the recording of your
Persuasive Presentation.
Paragraph II: How did you implement changes in your preparation, delivery, organization, etc.? Were those
changes effective? Do you think your speech improved in your Persuasive Presentation? Why or why not?
Paragraph III: Looking forward to our Small Group Presentation, how can you continue to improve as a
speaker? Craft a plan for improvement considering some or all of the following:
(1) How will you select information and prepare it in a way that is interesting for your audience?
(2) How will you improve your organization?
(3) How will you continue to work on vocal delivery, eye contact, and body language?
(4) What are some ways that you can continue to build a connection with your audienc
