Parent Involvement Plan

Develop a plan for involving and communicating with parents.
Create an introductory letter, newsletter, website, or other tangible means of communicating with parents that includes the following:
How you will make parents aware of the days and times you will be available for discussing problems or concems
How you will make parents aware of your classroom rules, procedures, guidelines, and consequences
How you plan to be proactive in working with students and parents
How you plan to involve students and parents in parent-teacher-student conferences
How you document positive and negative behaviors and share them with parents and colleagues
How you will work with colleagues and utilize community resources to support students who exhibit negative behaviors and to enhance your management
