Complete the discussion board assignment for this lesson
Submit Writing Assignment 4 by the last day of class for this semester, Friday by 10 pm

Read: Pentagon testing mass surveillance balloons across the US (Links to an external site.)
Recommended Task: I highly recommend you watch (Links to an external site.) or read (Links to an external site.) The Feed now that we have/are completing this course.

Food for thought and suggested activities:

To what extent do you worry about your privacy when using your smart phone? Do you think the state has too much knowledge of your personal information?
Consider your own consent and consumption of current social media and technology and how that plays into the ongoing fusion centers' data collection.

The final course assignment is to reflect on the novel (the one you chose either The Circle or The Feed) you were assigned this week and tie this to not only last week’s readings on our own role in supporting COPS but also the current technological issues/direction in this society as they relate to the novel. This is a reflective essay statement where you are to use personal reflection with additional facts and reference to specific aspects in the novel and to critical assess our participation including where we are heading. In other words, consider the novel juxtaposed with your, our, tech use, and what the novel may mean in relation to society going forward.
