This exercise requires the use of your textbook only of the people 3rd edition. The essay should begin the assignment by defining the lacking tight English control, each colony developed differently. This is the hypothesis of the assignment and your goal is to prove this hypothesis, or worded another way: the colonies had " common Experiences, but developed separate cultures". Each region finding a secure economic base : farming and shipping in New England, mixed farming in the middle colonies, and a single crop planting in the southern colonies, thus developing their own unique culture and political system.
